Introduction

Type Forms is a series of typography exercises exploring letterform anatomy, kerning, and hierarchy. The work moves through alignment studies, comparisons across type classifications, a hierarchy exercise using museum exhibition text, and a final grid based layout exercise. Each project builds on the last, forming a progression through foundational typographic principles, from individual letterforms to full page composition and structured multi column layout. The book documents this progression as a single continuous body of work.
